What Does Bilirubin Mean In Blood

Neruda's Postman - Burning paciecia

A young fisherman decides to become a postman in Isla Negra, where the only correspondence received and sent the poet Pablo Neruda. Between the two is forged a very peculiar when the postman turns to the poet to seduce his girlfriend
The rarefied atmosphere of those years precipitated Chile a dramatic denouement. It was adapted to film, with great success, directed by Michael Radford and starring Philippe Noiret and Massimo Troisi.

World Criticism and consecrate this novel:
"A real gem"
The New Yorker.

"The Golden Skarmeta dialogues reveal that relationship can occur between people and their poet. Whether in book or film, The Postman (Burning Patience) leads us to the real bottom to the need for poetry of a man who dwells in the midst of laughter, bitterness andthe disappointments. "
Le Monde.

"An ingenious and imaginative meditation on the relationship between literature and reality, and a sensitive account of a youthful passion."
The Washington Post.

............................................ ........................

is a delicious novel. The characters are ordinary people, from village, fishermen ... that make you feel a special affection for many of them. Characters are very "human". They are people with a normal life, routine, and releasing a charm which is hard not to fall.

The political history of Chile at that time (1970 onwards) marks the relationship between the poet and the postman. With this friendly relationship intertwines the beautiful love story of Mario and a young waitress.

The novel has been adapted for film and theater several times. I have not enjoyed any of the options. The movie "The Postman, and Pablo Neruda" received five Oscar nominations, of which only won one and several nominations for other awards. I hope to see soon.

Ultimately, a novel delicious, extremely easy to read, that grabs you and keeps you out of it until I read your last lines, and brings you closer to the private life of the great poet Pablo Neruda.
