The Shining Dracula

REDRUM. That is the word that Danny had seen in the mirror. And although he could not read, understood it was a message of horror. Danny was five. And few children that age know that mirrors reverse images, let alone tell the difference between reality and fantasy. But Danny had evidence that their fantasies with the brightness of the mirror would eventually be fulfilled: REDRUM-Murder, murder. But his father needed that job in the hotel. Danny knew his mother was thinking of divorce and her father was obsessed with something very bad, as bad as death and suicide. Yes, his father needed to accept the proposal to take care of this luxury hotel more than a hundred rooms, snowbound for six months. Until the thaw going to be alone.

Thirty years after its publication, the glow remains a visceral and gripping novel which exposes the power of Stephen King s leg hypnotize and terrify readers.

After reading this novel, the movie, "The Shining" Stanley Kubrick had become a "thin film of fear" that ignores the essence and drama of the author, master of horror.

is said that the miniseries was much more faithful to the novel but not necessary be an expert to know that all television drama is limited.

The Torrance family embarks for a month the custodian of a hotel in Colorado being completely isolated by the winter. Jack is a recovering alcoholic, full of demons in a hotel full of malevolent, ghostly spirits who have lost their jobs and destroyed his life in recent years.

embarks on this commitment is in search of peace and concentration to finish his book.

Strange things happen, as his wife suspects, only his son, who has the gift to see, really knows what can happen.

With each passing day increases the influence on Jack, exploiting his weaknesses, exacerbating his paranoia and persecution. The hotel will become a murderer to the new instrument available. Danny sees what is happening but, being so small, not fully understood.

is a harrowing tale of survival against the odds, an incredible supernatural nature. King brings every nuance of the living history of life, capturing perfectly the internalization and externalization of fear among extremely real characters that the reader comes to know very well. As has always been the case with Stephen King, his power characterization is forcing the reader to engage emotionally with the characters. .

While "The Shining" is my favorite novel of Stephen King, I can say is excellently prepared and has some of the most heartbreaking scenes in the history of Stehpen King. It recommended a novel, a classic that you can not stop reading.
