And the Education and Library Journal (n. 182, March / April 2011) devotes a great study There was a time when the sky Eduardo Solano and Riki Blanco. Rather, it presents not one but six studies signed by Aitana Carrasco, Ana G. Lartitegui, Olalla Hernández, Eva Villar Secanella, Mikel González Ayerbe Catalina Vilar.
In the words of Gustavo Puerta, coordinator of the rhino Tertulia: "I confess I felt more pleasure discussing There was a time when the sky Eduardo Solano and Riki Blanco in his own reading. I say this without any criticism or moral intent as in itself it does not make us either the book or me neither better nor worse. In any case, this curious album offers a good opportunity to claim the pleasure voyeurism, exhibitionism, autoagonistofílico, audiolágnico, pictofílico, sonmofílico ... inherent in the act of sharing readings. Flat Prom Dress Shoes
"One more year, and now twenty-six, the Community of Madrid organized the Exhibition of Children's and Youth with the aim of bringing to libraries, readers In short, a selection of new books for children and youth. This traveling exhibition, which will see the February 22, 2011 to January 13, 2012, through the libraries and reading rooms of 102 municipalities of the Community of Madrid and is complemented by a catalog that describes the 354 titles in the sample of 2010, which allows to approach the scene of literary creation and illustration today. "
Among
selected this year are four titles at a good pace:
without text books in one part of the meaning it puts the reader drawings interpreting what you have without the help of the text. In this case, although it is a book in which sequences are bound to perfection, not just silence, the reader feels the end of the story and seems to affirm that we are reading a story within a story. A girl (drawn with a computer and colors) that plays in a fairytale forest (shaded colors and made with paint) misses a ball and chasing her into the forest and meets a bear story and a bird with who share games, excitement and adventure. After several sequences we see the baby bear says goodbye and leaves the story that bears reading. Two planes for a single narrative history. Interesting and suggestive.
The personification of the feelings is very wise to count the smaller the mood for an adult who becomes aggressive and unsociable. With a mixture of innocence and irony, the Mexican author portrays a troubled family situation that becomes kind by the presence of a girl determined to save her father from stress. The solution lies in the realm of the affections, with a final kind that brings out the absurd concerns of adults. The illustrations, which combine collage and pencil especially in soft tones, winks entered the world of art, film and advertising, and hide intentionally father figure that bear only shows its long shadow while angry, to an idyllic image of the final film actor.
The story of Little Red Riding Hood revisited from the humor and through a plot that is maintained until the end. A grandmother's house in the darkest night comes the wolf tricked ready to eat. But the grandmother, apparently deaf, does not understand the caller's name and refuses to open the door. The wolf invents a thousand names and trickery, but Grandma does not open and when they seem to understand, after the wolf desperate door does not work. The illustration done with linoleum driving alone black, gray and red is very expressive and convincing. In this work, so complete is added to match the font that is growing with increasing desperation of the wolf. This book won the Baobab in Montreuil.
These short stories written in the manner of fables, they are featuring animals, always pose a moral conflict: the desire for power, over time, the value of friendship, envy or jealousy ... In all we see the protagonists, the human transcript, interact and live with their doubts and problems. His capacity for synthesis, precise and careful writing makes this text a literary gem. Some stay afloat, others make us doubt, almost all think and conclude from the complexity of human behavior. The illustrations are almost always humorous and ironic, pure colors, added concern and sense of texts.
How To Find Honey Bee Tree
After reviewing the presence of the fables in the history of humanity will (if you have some doubt it is best to ask your own Grassa Toro or read his article "The useful literature" published in the book Children's Literature and Dynamics, proceedings of the meeting for discussing the Circle hexagon in Tarazona, 2009), we are a particular illusion to think that these fables are now within the walls of Blutenburg Castle, home of the Internationale Jugendbibliothek . Even more illusion
us comment on the work published in the catalog:
"This book expertly plays with literary Traditions and components. The title as well as the publishing information on the last page are tongue-in-cheek tributes tothe elaborate style of old etiquette books. What readers will discover within its one-hundred pages are traditional yet also refreshingly different animal fables – encompassing new topics and new characters. In the texts, things are raw, cold, and ruthless. Blood flows, and there is no mercy. The law of the strongest, the most cunning, or the youngest holds. Some of the fables, none of which are more than two pages long, are easily understandable; others are cryptic and likely to leave the reader mystified – which does not in any way diminish one’s reading pleasure. The surreal seeming illustrations aptly capture the overall tone of this unusual book. (Age: 10 +) "

What To Use A Kabuki Brush For
blog In 's Corner of the magazine stories I donate , Cecilia Frías focuses on Papa Bear's Eudave Cecilia and James Muniz .
A very different perspective to the humorous, but no less rewarding, is what brings us this touching picture book: another fable about a father capable imperfect of redemption through the love of a daughter.
Little Ana was not happy: he had a family and a cute puppy, but without realizing his father was becoming a grouchy and grumpy bear . As he was unhappy in his work was spreading bitterness to anyone who lived next to him and each day seemed "more and less person bear."
not appreciated the good reports from the small and appreciated the efforts of mother to cook delicious dishes. When Anne found out that this radical change (because, yes friends, once was a man playing with his daughter and even took her to the movies) was because of Mr. Stress decided take action on the matter and prosecute the happy character that had haunted his father. However, no plan, no strategic trap was used to catch it. Both looked for the poor that caused the odd mess in the house. Then Papa Bear enraged to the point where the little girl came crying that he could not stop in days. The doctor made it clear to his worried parents that Anna was a prisoner of stress, and as if he had uttered the magic words, small tears ceased to cry triumphantly: "I found, I found it ... now that I have it (Mr. Stress ) shall cease to bear dad. " Not
portray each complex simple mood but Jacobo Muñiz illustrations make it easy to the difficult, outlining texture collages with these complex feelings .
goes without saying that the father was collapsed to his own selfishness and for the first time he was able to look in the mirror. Let us hope that this profound book will serve as a reminder to subdue the bear grumpy than any we can hover in this chaotic life we \u200b\u200blead. Cecilia Frías
Ecoli In Strawberries
Cristina Pérez's book has been reviewed in Navarro Welcome to the party.
In the silence of the forest, of Cristina Pérez Navarro, is an album without words. The first page shows a girl with a ball sitting on a steep meadow. Then we go into a forest behind the ball and there, get scared and end up finding a bear.
prevention Saved my arguments where bears appear friendly (for the real experiences that I know about), the story is more than sympathetic. Graphically, the story is well taken: the illustrator spins correctly scenes and figures convey the feelings of the protagonists. Almost all the illustrations are in a full face except for a few pages, which are two or three consecutive scenes. All illustrations are on the right page facing a page with no pictures left and right dominant color, a form of writing an album that history itself is unnecessary, but that makes the book attractive and easy to read have more breathing space. And the touch metanarrative of the story, right at the end, is perfect: not disturb the reading of history that can make the child, leaves him wondering what exactly you have read and I will go back. Other considerations, if we read books or the books we read to us, if we enter into the stories the stories come to us, and so on., and are for adults. Luis Daniel Gonzalez

Sable In Bra And Panties
Mr. G. has arrived in Italy by the hand of the editorial La Nuova Frontiera. And its arrival has been accompanied by some interesting comments as flattering as appearing in news Zazie , Biblioragazzi and Leggerci Leggera.
We are most striking aspect is the reference to revolutionary G. Lord, which he compared with the movement Guerrilla Gardening .
This association of ideas (which I had not noticed before) reaffirms the reasons why I feel a special love for the Lord G. : His attitude is based on a peaceful freedom, allowing you to pursue a project that improved their lives, just also improving their wary neighbors. I love the Lord G. because it does all this without launching platforms or task forces / communication. Mr. G. works by osmosis, take care of your being and your life, knowing that this is all it takes to make a difference.
Gustavo Roldán, the father of Mr. G., is in Italy on 21 March invited by the festival of literature and art to young Minimondi , which will give a workshop for children and a talk to anyone to whom you please find out more green guerrilla's ... our dear Lord G.

Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Mcdonalds
You are about to reach bookstores Rabbit and Elephant Stories Gustavo Roldán (gustavoroldan.blogspot.com).
Rabbit and Elephant are two good friends who live in the jungle. They take care of each other, although occasionally a rabbit loves to make a joke to Elephant. The elephant does not care too much because it has its own philosophy, a philosophy that lets intimate get back at Rabbit.
Both want to explore the world, but they have to do when it rains (as well as Rabbit Elephants have a terrible fear of thunder), then for constructing transport: one day a plane and another one ... A great sailing boat built in the space of one day only to discover that there is no sea in the jungle.
No problem, Rabbit and Elephant morning launched himself to another activity. Ten nifty stories illustrated by drawings dithyrambic Gustavo Roldán, that the reader will laugh while you are taken to reflect on the true meaning of friendship.
